Quality Control Procedures
Our Project Managers study each translation assignment in detail and search our data base for translators whose mother tongue is the target language and who specialize in the technical field concerned. Once the work is delivered, the proofreading team reviews the translation work.
Even though quality control procedures are maintained, the client’s collaboration is indispensable to solve any technical doubts that may arise in the course of the translation. This assures quality in the final document. It is advisable that the client assigns a contact person to consult, as well as supplementary documentation, if necessary, to assist with answering questions.
Along with all translation works, we submit to the client a bilingual or multilingual technical glossary containing terminology specific to the company’s technical area. The client should then review this glossary and make changes, so as to guarantee the use of the correct terminology in future translations. This glossary specific to the client’s firm will grow as more documents are translated, thus guaranteeing a faithful translation and proper terminology.
